Beard oil is nourishing and amazing for your beard hairs and the skin underneath. A quality, natural beard oil will make your beard feel great, look great, and smell great. Times - Beard oil should be used after every shower. The saturation of the shower water, especially warm/hot water, will leach away the oils from your beard. Out of the shower you will want to replenish those oils. No matter the time of day or even how often you shower. Use beard oil after every shower. You want to dry your beard to a damp state. We like to say damp but not dripping. This timing will also maximize the benefits of the oil because you want to apply beard oil to a damp beard to lock the moisture in and to help easily and evenly spread the product out. Outside of that general rule we recommend beard products at least twice a day. Once in the morning, and once before bed.  

Conditions - You should be using beard oil when you are clean. You want your beard to be relatively clean, even if that just means rinsing your beard really well. It is very important to have clean hands as you apply any beard products, but especially beard oil. The reason why it is particularly important with beard oil to have clean hands is because you will be massaging the oil into your skin and pores. If you have dirty hands you will massaging the dirt into the pores. That will lead to blockage, slow growth, and even acne.  Apply beard oil when your beard is damp and clean.  If you live in a dry climate or season, you may need to apply a little more. If you live in a humid climate or season, you may want to apply a little less. The conditions around you can even be a factor!
